The longer I've been in this business, the more I've realized something.

It was never really about the loans.

It wasn't about the money.

It wasn't about the awards.

It wasn't about recognition, titles, production numbers, or checking the next box.

At one point or another, I probably thought it was.

Most of us do.

But when I look back over my career, that's not what stands out.

What stands out are the people.

The first family I helped buy a home.

The first Realtor I helped grow their business.

The first Loan Officer I helped develop.

The first branch I helped build.

The first market.

The first region.

The conversations.

The relationships.

The impact.

People often ask me what my "why" is.

Looking back, I don't think it's ever changed.

It's simply helping people.

Listening.

Understanding what they're trying to accomplish.

Then doing everything I can to help them build it.

Whether that's helping a family buy their first home...

Helping a Loan Officer build the business they want...

Or helping a leader grow a team...

The mission is the same.

Simply helping people by listening and meeting their needs.

Everything else follows.

That's what keeps me going.

And to me...

That's what #DOMORE really looks like.
